Object of the General Terms and Conditions
The object of the General Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the contract terms for all contracts which are entered into via the online shop between knittybitty.de (hereinafter referred to as the “Vendor”) and the online shop customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”). In each instance, the version of the General Terms and Conditions which is applicable at the time when the respective contract is entered into will apply to that contract.
Entry into contract
The offers made in the online shop are not binding. By sending the order form, the Customer makes a binding declaration to the Vendor that the Customer wishes to purchase the contents of the basket. The contract only comes into existence when the Vendor issues an order confirmation or dispatches the goods.
Our offers are subject to change without notice. They are subject to the condition of us having the product in stock or the product being available. In the event of us not being supplied properly or correctly, entry into contract takes place subject to the reservation of only partial performance or non-performance. In the event of non-availability or only partial availability, the Customer will be informed without undue delay. In such case, any payment which has already been made will be refunded without undue delay.
Note about the pictures
As a result of the digital pictures and different PC hardware and their technical configuration, slight colour deviations from the original can arise when they are displayed on the monitor.
Prices
The price at the time of making the offer to the Customer is authoritative for the invoicing. When the Vendor’s website is updated, all of the previous prices and information concerning the goods become invalid.
Information about revocation/return right
Right of Revocation
You can revoke your contract declaration within 14 days, without giving any reasons, in text form (e.g. letter, fax or email) or - if the item is handed over to you before the expiry of the 14-day period – also by returning the item. The 14-day period commences after receipt of this notification in text form, but not before receipt of the goods by the recipient (in the case of recurring delivery of the same type of goods, not before the receipt of the first part-delivery) and also not before the fulfilment of our information obligations pursuant to Article 246 § 2 in association with § 1 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB) as well as our obligations pursuant to § 312g paragraph 1, sentence 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB) in association with Article 246 § 3 of the EGBGB. The timely dispatch of the revocation or of the item is sufficient to comply with the revocation period. The revocation is to be addressed to:

Consequences of Revocation
In the event of a valid revocation, the performance received by both parties is to be reversed and any benefits (e.g. interest) derived, if any, are to be handed over. If you are wholly or partially unable to reverse the performance received by you or only in a deteriorated condition, then you are obliged to compensate us for the value, if applicable. In the case of handing over items, this does not apply if the deterioration of the item is exclusively to be attributed to its inspection - such as would have been possible for you in a store, for example. In addition, you can avoid being obliged to compensate us for the value in connection with deterioration which has occurred due to the item being used as intended, by you not using the item as your property and by you refraining from doing anything which detrimentally affects the item's value. Items capable of shipment in a package (“Paket”) are to be returned at our risk. You must bear the costs of returning the goods if the goods delivered to you correspond to those ordered and if the price of the goods to be returned is not more than a sum of EUR 40, or, in the case of the goods having a higher price at the time of the revocation, if you have not yet rendered the consideration or a contractually-agreed part-payment. Otherwise, returning the goods is free of cost to you. Items not capable of shipment in a package (“Paket") will be collected from you. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period commences for you upon the dispatch of your revocation declaration or the item, and for us upon its receipt.
The right of revocation does not exist for goods which
- have been produced in accordance with customer specifications, or
- are clearly tailored to personal requirements, or
- are not suitable for return, due to their composition, or
- might decay rapidly, or
- whose expiry date has been exceeded.
Warranty
The warranty is given in accordance with the statutory provisions, whereby we firstly make subsequent delivery or subsequent improvement, according to your choice, in the event that an item is defective. If the subsequent improvement is unsuccessful or if the goods subsequently supplied are also flawed, then you can return the goods to us in exchange for refund of the full purchase price, or keep the goods and reduce the purchase price.
